client bio

The Amazon Facility, TPA 1, is a close-knit community that truly values the culture and diversity of Tampa. As a result, they are always seeking methods to prominently showcase their team pride and diverse cultural backgrounds.

The facility rep, Katherine, approached us to help transform their plain main entryways, used by all employees, into a vibrant celebration memorial.

Project goals

We ultimately concluded that we wanted the windows to:

  • Enhance the visual appeal of the facility's main entrances to reflect the vibrant culture and diversity of the team.
  • Create a sense of pride and belonging amongst employees through the display of culturally relevant artwork.
  • Strengthen ties with the local community by showcasing their shared cultural elements in visible parts of the facility.

The Before

Before the project, the main entrances of the Amazon facility were plain and uninviting. They did not reflect the vibrant culture and diversity of the team and the local community.

Art Direction & Illustration

To adhere closely to the theme, we transformed Amazon's brand mascot, Peccy, from his usual orange blob shape to a multi-colored pirate. This was done as a nod to the Tampa Bay Pirates.

Installation

Our friends at FastSigns of Brandon played a significant role in bringing this project to life with their expert installation skills.

Results

The result was a visually engaging representation of the local culture that not only lifted the spirits of the employees but also strengthened the bond between the facility and the community it serves.

Client Testimonial

“Thank you all for your service. You've truly captured the spirit of Tampa and make us proud to represent it.”
